The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation has launched a 'Digital Twin Cloud Service' that recreates the 'Olympic Gymnastics Arena' and the 'Handball Stadium' in a three-dimensional virtual space.

Fully operational as of October 30, the service offers features such as analyzing blind spots in audience sightlines, comparing safety personnel deployment scenarios, and managing facilities in three dimensions. Through this, event organizers can now verify safety blind spots related to stage structures without visiting the site directly, allowing them to prepare in advance for vulnerable areas before performances. In particular, the arrangement of seating and standing areas can be reviewed in the virtual space beforehand.

An official from the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, speaking by phone with this outlet, stated, "As we are now able to check potential hazards in a virtual space prior to events, audiences will be able to enjoy performances more safely."
