'The Seasons' Kim Nam-gil has transformed into a rookie singer.

On the 17th episode of KBS 2TV 'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's High-Pitched Boyfriend' (hereinafter 'The Seasons'), Kim Nam-gil appeared as a guest.

That day, Sung Si-kyung introduced him as "rookie singer Kim Nam-gil", and Kim Nam-gil also referred to himself as 'a rookie singer'. He expressed that "it feels different from when I do fan meetings" and "it definitely feels different", showing signs of nervousness.

Sung Si-kyung mentioned that he had met Kim Nam-gil in a drama 20 years ago, saying "I played the role of a top popular singer who always had a cloud-like fan club following me, while Mr. Nam-gil served as my bodyguard. But the bodyguard looked so cool that I was annoyed". The two then laughed while watching the scene from the drama, asking "Why is the bodyguard on stage?".

Sung Si-kyung then brought up the incident where Kim Nam-gil had initially chosen the stage name 'Cool Tone' but later retracted it. Kim Nam-gil explained, "I had the dream of releasing a full album and decided to include a few songs. We discussed whether to use Cool Tone as the stage name, and in the midst of excited conversation, I agreed. By that evening, the name Cool Tone had already been announced as my stage name through the promotional agency. It was a mishap caused by a lack of communication, which ironically turned into a meme".

Kim Nam-gil revealed that he has been receiving vocal lessons for 16 years, saying "my vocal teacher hasn't been able to retire yet" and "every time I return from acting, my vocal technique changes, so we keep going for 16 years", making the a sea of laughter.
