Actor Moon Sang-min has attracted attention from The New York Times, a leading daily newspaper in the United States.

On the 1st (local time), The New York Times introduced the Netflix film 'Pavane' in its section titled 'Five International Movies to Stream Now.' It also praised the film as an "elegant melodrama dealing with love and tragedy." Notably, 'Pavane' was the only Korean film among the recommended titles.

In 'Pavane,' Moon Sang-min played the role of Kyung-rok, a young man who gave up his dream of becoming a dancer and works part-time as a parking attendant at a department store, leading the overall flow of the film. The New York Times commented that the deep narrative and relationships created by three characters—Yohan (played by Byun Yo-han), Mi-jeong (played by Ko A-sung), and Kyung-rok—centered on Kyung-rok's life enhanced the film's immersion.

Through 'Pavane,' Moon Sang-min has demonstrated subtle inner acting, portraying the incomplete youth burdened by the weight of life as well as the process of changing and growing through relationships, solidifying his growth as a skilled actor.

Meanwhile, Moon Sang-min will meet global viewers through his upcoming Netflix series 'Beauty in the Beast' (working title). He will also appear in the Disney+ original series 'The Miracle of Namiya General Store.'
