BTS Jin took the top spot in a survey for perfume ad models.

From May 11 to 17, Jin received 8,176 votes in the 'Celebrate the start of your 20s! A star perfect for a coming-of-age day perfume ad' poll conducted by Idol Chart, securing first place with a 75% vote share.

As a first-place reward, a large-scale advertisement featuring Jin was broadcast for seven days on major digital billboards in Seodaemun and Myeong-dong, Seoul. Jin serves as the global ambassador for the beauty brand Laneige, and Laneige's total sales in the fourth quarter of 2024, the quarter when it began featuring Jin as a model, surged by more than 30%. Laneige ranked third in skincare brand sales at Sephora in 2024, and sales also increased significantly across major distribution channels such as Amazon.

In addition to Laneige, Jin is active as a global ambassador and representative model for Gucci, Alo, FRED, Dongwon F&B's Dongwon Tuna, LUCIDO-L, Dolby, and IGIN. Since selecting Jin as its model, Dongwon Tuna saw its exports to Japan increase by approximately 50% and exports to the United States by approximately 30% compared to the previous year. The U.S. fashion magazine 'WWD' published an article stating that 'news of Jin's Alo ambassadorship generated a media exposure effect worth $3.6 million in just 24 hours,' conveying the overwhelming advertising impact of the 'Jin Effect.'
