Singer and painter Solbi revealed her recent activities as a writer.

The the 17th broadcast of MBC's variety program 'Radio Star' was themed as 'Lovers of Short Form,' featuring Kim Jong-un, Lee Han-woo, Solbi, and Kinky as guests.

On this day, Solbi said, "Last year, I wrote a short drama script. The title is 'My Ex-Boyfriend Is a Top Star'," drawing surprise.

Solbi explained, "About three years ago, I woke up from a dream. In the dream, my old boyfriend appeared. When I woke up from the dream, I felt so excited and sweet. I thought, 'Can't I really start with this?' Now, I'm doing very well, so I decided to write based on that."

She continued, "I showed it to close production companies, and they said it was very fun, so I applied for a grant from the Korea Creative Content Agency and was selected. I used AI as an assistant writer to organize the script, and the drama was produced. I even conducted auditions myself, participated in script readings, and visited the set. I ended up meddling unnecessarily because I had my own ideas. After that, they told me, 'Please don't come to the set,' so I couldn't go. It also ranked number one in Japan."

Regarding her pen name, Solbi answered, "I used the pen name Laura Zhang."

Jang Do-yeon asked about her plans for the next work, and Solbi replied, "I started with a 29+ romance but changed it to a mystery genre. For short dramas, the title is crucial. There must be a hook in the title that draws people in. It's 'My Husband's Love Counseling.' While writing this work alone, I thought it was important to have a female character who drives the plot, so I even considered virtual casting. When I met Senior Kim Jong-un there, I thought he would fit the role perfectly," making an on-the-spot love call.

In response, Kim Jong-un asked, "I heard it's 29+, so do I have to strip?" Solbi answered, "There are nudity scenes and intense love scenes." Kim Jong-un said, "That sounds great. Try writing something really spicy."

Solbi also mentioned, "I even considered 'My Husband Is a Host.' For short dramas, it's about what makes people want to click," eliciting laughter.
