It is reported that Choi Sang-yeop (birth name: Lee Sang-yeop), the son of comedians Park Mi-sun and Lee Bong-won, has changed his surname to 'Choi' and debuted as an actor. However, he shares the same agency with Park Mi-sun.

Recently, in a video titled "New Woman" on the YouTube channel "Rolling Thunder," Park Mi-sun appeared and spoke about her son Choi Sang-yeop.

Jo Hye-ryeon mentioned Park Mi-sun's son, saying, "He has changed his surname to pursue acting." Jo Hye-ryeon added that she only recently learned that a participant who came for an audition for a play two years ago was actually Park Mi-sun's son. She praised Choi Sang-yeop, stating, "He is too cute, handsome, and acts very well."

Park Mi-sun said, "My son expressed his desire to become an actor. You can't control your children as you wish. When he was young, his dream was to be a comedian. We provided gifted education for him, but suddenly he said he wanted to act. He is doing it quietly without (parental) help."

As such, Choi Sang-yeop has continued his acting career by changing his surname to avoid the halo effect of having famous broadcasting personalities as parents. However, his agency is the same as his mother's. His agency is Cube Entertainment, where Park Mi-sun is also affiliated.

However, Choi Sang-yeop and Park Mi-sun do not follow each other on their Instagram accounts.

Choi Sang-yeop debuted with the play "Bae So-go-ji Story" and has appeared on stages for "Orlando," "Body Body Change," and "I Love You, Mom." He also appeared in Netflix's "Good News."

Meanwhile, Park Mi-sun and Lee Bong-won married in 1993 and have one son and one daughter.
