Actor Yoon Kyung-ho has successfully completed his 13-hour vow of silence, which he had pledged as a viewership rating promise for the drama "Manager Kim."

On the afternoon of the 13th at 8:20 p.m., Yoon Kyung-ho posted a short video on his SNS.

Along with the post, he added, "I have ended my vow of silence. Please continue to love SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Manager Kim'."

The released video shows Yoon Kyung-ho breaking his silence at 8:20 p.m. that day. As soon as the clock struck 8:20, he clapped lightly and told those around him, "Thank you for your hard work."

Yoon Kyung-ho's vow of silence originated from a discussion about viewership ratings during the production presentation for "Manager Kim" held last month. At that time, when asked about his viewership pledge, Yoon Kyung-ho said, "Since So Ji-sub is returning to SBS after 13 years, I hope Season 2 will be produced if the viewership rating exceeds 13%," and added, "I will try a 13-hour vow of silence."

Afterward, "Manager Kim" surpassed the psychological barrier of 20% viewership by recording a national viewership rating of 21.5% according to Nielsen Korea in just four episodes. In response, Yoon Kyung-ho fulfilled his self-declared vow of silence pledge and repaid the love of viewers.

Meanwhile, "Manager Kim," starring actors Yoon Kyung-ho, So Ji-sub, Choi Tae-hoon, and others, is a father-universe revenge action drama in which a father becomes "the world's most dangerous" man to fight for his only daughter. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
