Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu revealed a special connection.

On the 16th, Jang Sung-kyu posted on his personal social media: "Eight years ago, I met a college student who visited 'Bangguseok 1 Yeol' as an aspiring writer and said, 'Let's meet again someday in a program, Author.' Eight years later, we met as an author and cast member on 'Kkiri Kkiri,' watched the first episode together, and shared memories. That is the romantic lethal dose," while posting a selfie with the 'Kkiri Kkiri' writer.

Jang Sung-kyu conveyed heartwarming nostalgia by recreating a past scene that spanned over eight years. The image of Jang Sung-kyu, who was once an immature college student and posed affectionately in a V-shape, and the two people recently posting a verification photo in the exact same composition after eight years have passed, bring emotion to viewers.

Jang Sung-kyu's preservative visual, which perfectly escaped the passage of time, also drew attention. Jang Sung-kyu in a blue zip-up eight years ago and Jang Sung-kyu today wearing a white T-shirt had only slightly changed their hairstyle and glasses frames; their mischievous smiles and facial features remained exactly as if copied and pasted, surprising onlookers.

Jang Sung-kyu married his elementary school classmate Lee Yu-mi in early May 2014 and has two sons. In 2021, he purchased a building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for 6.5 billion won. The current market value of the property is reported to be over 10 billion won.
