Food vlogger and YouTuber Sang Hae-gi (real name Kwon Sang-hyeok), who caused controversy due to drunk driving, shared his recent status with a noticeably thinner face.

On the 16th, Sang Hae-gi uploaded a video to his Instagram story without any additional caption.

The video showed Sang Hae-gi sitting inside a vehicle.

Once known as a big eater, he drew attention with a significantly thinner face. His cheeks had disappeared, making his facial features more distinct. His hair was neatly styled.

Meanwhile, Sang Hae-gi was caught driving under the influence on the morning of September 21 last year. He refused a police breathalyzer test and fled before being arrested as a suspect in flagrante delicto. Notably, it was revealed that this was his third drunk driving offense, sparking public outrage.

While remaining silent amid the drunk driving controversy, Sang Hae-gi finally expressed his apology through his YouTube channel last May. At the time, he said, "Although a bit late, I have come before the camera to bow my head and apologize for my irreversible mistake. I committed drunk driving last September. This was my third offense after 2020 and 2021."

Sang Hae-gi added, "I thought, 'The distance is short,' and 'I must be sober,' so I took the wheel. I deeply regret how dangerous and irresponsible that choice was. I believe criticism and disappointment are entirely justified. I will not make excuses." He further stated, "Nevertheless, I stand here to clearly record my mistake before the world and to reaffirm my resolve never to repeat such an error."

Meanwhile, Sang Hae-gi began his career as an AfricaTV BJ in 2018 and expanded his activities to YouTube in 2019. With 1.58 million subscribers, he concluded his period of self-reflection and returned last month.
