Actors Yum Jung-ah and Park Eun-bin have reunited for a new film titled 'Nae-moon-jeong'.

On the 17th, distributor KT Studio Genie officially announced, "We have confirmed that Yum Jung-ah and Park Eun-bin will star in 'Nae-moon-jeong'."

It further stated, "This marks the long-awaited meeting of Yum Jung-ah, who is celebrating her 35th anniversary since debut, and Park Eun-bin, marking her 30th anniversary. With a combined acting career spanning 65 years, the two actors will portray a mother-daughter relationship filled with intense hatred and love, unfolding an ordinary yet extraordinary family story."

'Nae-moon-jeong' tells the story of Hyun-sook, a mother who has never grown close to her youngest daughter Eun-jeong throughout their lives, as they work through the emotional misunderstandings that have built up between them.

It is reported that Yum Jung-ah decided to join the project after being captivated by the challenge of a new role. In the film, she plays Kang Hyun-sook, a mother who has single-handedly raised three sons with unwavering strength. Kang Hyun-sook is a character who has faced countless turning points in her life.

Meanwhile, Park Eun-bin chose 'Nae-moon-jeong' as her first screen appearance in four years since 'The Witch: Part 2. The Other One', drawing attention. She has secured the title role of Nae-moon-jeong, a daughter who has lived with her mother through constant conflict and whose bond has completely eroded, leaving no affection behind. The film is expected to resonate with daughters across various generations nationwide.

Especially since these two actors have never worked together before, their fresh mother-daughter chemistry is already generating significant interest.

Director Kim Dong-hoon, who previously won the Grand Prize of Korean Advertising twice for his deeply narrative-driven commercials, makes his directorial debut with 'Nae-moon-jeong'. The film has finalized its main casting lineup and is currently in pre-production.
