Was it staged, or was it truly impromptu?

On the 25th, MBC told StarNews regarding allegations of broadcast manipulation in Jeon Hyun-moo's 'I Live Alone' (hereinafter 'I Live Alone') that they are "verifying" the matter.

The allegations of broadcast manipulation in Jeon Hyun-moo's 'I Live Alone' surfaced on the 14th.

At that time, taking advantage of a rare one-night, two-day holiday, Jeon Hyun-moo headed straight for the airport to spend a fulfilling vacation. Under the condition of visiting an unfamiliar place he had never been to, he decided on the spot to travel to Almaty, Kazakhstan, which is seven hours away by plane.

Accordingly, Jeon Hyun-moo purchased his flight ticket on the spot at the scene and smoothly reserved both accommodation and a rental car, enjoying his trip.

However, this seemingly perfect "impromptu trip" faced strong backlash immediately after the broadcast aired. This was because pointed criticisms were raised that the gap between the staged situation in the broadcast and reality was too large. Some netizens expressed doubts about whether tickets were reserved for dozens of production staff members, starting from the car rental process, raising allegations of a manipulated broadcast.
