Broadcast personality Jang Sung-kyu expressed sorrow over the worst flood tragedy that occurred in Nepal.

On the 28th, Jang Sung-kyu posted a message on his personal Instagram: "I am communicating with a friend in Nepal, and the situation is too serious... I hope there will be no further major damage... and that they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."

A massive flood that struck Nepal and Tibet has left 472 dead and 1,535 missing as of the 28th. It is reported that more than 800 of the missing are foreigners. Nine Koreans affiliated with Korea South-East Power Co. and Doosan Enerbility, who were constructing a hydropower plant in the area, are also currently out of contact.

It has been suggested that this flood may have occurred due to climate change in the Himalayas caused by global warming, leading to the collapse of massive glaciers and rocks. In addition to Jang Sung-kyu, Ki-an 84 also announced on his SNS on the 28th: "Rai Tamang is said to be safe. I pray for the repose of all who have perished."
