On the 28th, Lee Jun-ho attended the '8th NEWSIS Hallyu Expo (2026 K-EXPO)' held at The Grand Lotte Seoul Crystal Ballroom in Jung-gu, Seoul, adding brilliance to the event.

That day, Lee Jun-ho was honored with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Jang Gwan-sang-eul (수상). He was recognized not only for his acting skills and star power that captivated audiences both domestically and internationally through his performances in tvN's 'Typhoon Romance' last year and the Netflix series 'The Cashier', but also for demonstrating his solid global influence by meeting 85,000 fans at '2PM Japan 15th Anniversary Concert "THE RETURN" in TOKYO DOME'.

Holding the trophy close, Lee Jun-ho expressed, "I sincerely thank you for giving me this meaningful award. I simply did the music and acting I wanted to do, but it seems I was fortunate enough to be connected with the trends of a good era and given a wonderful opportunity to introduce K-culture to the world." He added, "Going forward, I will strive to become an outstanding person who can more widely share the power of K-content through excellent works and music."

As Lee Jun-ho continues to elevate the status of K-content with his active efforts, he has also announced upcoming projects this year, signaling his relentless drive. He is expected to showcase a unique charm as the 'enthusiastic new employee' at Branch 2 of 'Great Panic Gihanjang Season 2', which will be released on September 22 via Netflix.

In addition, Lee Jun-ho plans to further expand his acting range with 'Viking' and 'The Ambassador from Another World'. In 'Viking', he will portray Han Ji-yeol, a cold-blooded strategist and third-generation chaebol heir, while in 'The Ambassador from Another World', he will play Cha Yeon, the head of the world's most eccentric embassy who is also a dragon (). His genre-defying character transformations are generating high expectations.
