Singer Jina participated as a judge at the 'K-Pop Festival'.

On the 30th, Jina posted photos and videos on her SNS showing her attendance at the '2026 Kimchi & K-Food Festival' held on the 28th at Coquitlam Town Centre in British Columbia, Canada.

Jina served as a judge for the dance competition at the festival, reviewing crews performing K-pop cover dances.

Earlier, organizers announced: "Korean-Canadian singer Jina, who has been active on the K-pop stage, will join the 2026 Kimchi Festival K-POP Dance Championship as a special MC. 'We hope this event will be a special time where participants' passion and challenges toward the stage are supported, and together with the audience, we create the hot energy of K-pop.'"

Jina also shared a post from an acquaintance praising her: "Our pretty Jina did so well," expressing pride.

She described the experience as "a blessed feeling" and recorded her participation as a judge among several moments in August.

Meanwhile, Jina debuted in the music industry in 2010 and released songs such as 'I'll Go Away and Live Well' and 'Black & White.' However, she suspended her entertainment activities in March 2016 after becoming involved in a prostitution case during a trip to the United States.

At that time, she claimed she had sexual relations with a man introduced by an acquaintance but insisted it was unrelated to any financial compensation. She also explained that they met as mutual acquaintances who developed a good relationship. However, the court rejected these claims and sentenced her to a fine of 2 million won.

Later, in 2017, Jina clarified on her personal account: "Although I was surrounded by many obstacles, emotional pain, and endless rumors, I did not give up thanks to fans who believed in and followed me," referring to the prostitution case as a "rumor."
