31st Batch Sunja of 'I Am Single' directly addressed the so-called "celebrity disease."

On the 30th, 31st Batch Sunja stated, "For now, I will be having Friday dates alongside 'Senior's Interference.' The first episode aired last Friday, and after receiving direction to greet fans of 'I Am Single,' I said something like 'To the fans...' which led to an unintended misunderstanding that I had contracted celebrity disease."

She continued, "I do not have celebrity disease, nor am I a celebrity. I simply malfunction whenever I stand in front of a camera, so please view me cutely. Please show great interest in 'Senior's Interference.'"

In this regard, 31st Batch Sunja and her publicly dating partner, 31st Batch Gyeong-su, confessed to social anxiety during the 'Senior's Interference' content aired on the SBS Plus YouTube channel on the 28th. Gyeong-su said, "I am getting along well while dating Sunja. It is still a bit difficult for me to go out in crowded places, so I am refraining from doing so. However, I am trying to get around more these days."

31st Batch Sunja explained, "Gyeong-su has social anxiety and finds it difficult when he goes to crowded places, so we try to date mostly in quiet spots."

Notably, regarding rumors that the eyeglass shop operated by 31st Batch Gyeong-su has become a huge success after the broadcast, he stated, "It is completely unrelated to reality. It is similar to before." He added, "There are quite a few people who say they visited because of the broadcast. They did not come because of me; they are all fans of Ms. Sunja. They come to get glasses fitted for themselves and then deliver gifts to Ms. Sunja."

Previously, the two appeared on 'I Am Single' 31st Batch, reached each other as finalists, and subsequently developed into a romantic couple.
