Group Clones' Kang Won-rae congratulated Koo Jun-yup on his birthday.

On the 11th, Kang Won-rae posted a video and message on his social media saying, "Jun-yup, happy birthday," adding, "Please take good care of your health and convey my regards to Taes from me, Song-i, and Seon-i." The term "Taes" is the nickname for Koo Jun-yup's wife, the late Taiwanese actress Seo Hee-won.

Along with this, Kang Won-rae shared a video featuring past photos filled with memories of his time with Koo Jun-yup, revealing his deep affection. In the photos, the two are shown in their youthful days.

Meanwhile, Koo Jun-yup began dating Seo Hee-won in Taiwan in 1998 but broke up after one year. Later, Seo Hee-won divorced Chinese businessman Wang Xiaopei in 2021 and reunited with Koo Jun-yup, marrying him in 2022. However, Seo Hee-won suddenly passed away last February due to influenza accompanied by pneumonia while traveling in Japan, sending shockwaves through the public.
