Regarding Barre, Nam Ji-hyun said, "It is a high-intensity exercise based on ballet. It incorporates ballet movements and has an intensity comparable to gym workouts. The name is Barre. It was popular overseas about 20 years ago, but in Korea it has only been around for about three years now. It is unfamiliar. Pilates is also mixed in, and all types of exercises are included."
