Former soccer player Park Ju-ho will serve as an SBS soccer commentator at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

On the 15th, Park Ju-ho announced his participation through his social media, stating, "I am joining as an SBS commentator for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games," and shared several photos.

He continued, "Tonight at 7:30 p.m., South Korea vs. Qatar group stage opener! I will be on-site working hard," and added, "Please watch and support SBS's broadcast."

The South Korean men's national soccer team, led by coach Lee Min-seong, faced Qatar in the first match of Group D at 7:30 p.m. that day. Park Ju-ho will be on-site with SBS anchor Bae Seong-jae and commentator Jang Ji-hyun to provide live commentary to viewers.

Park Ju-ho made his professional debut in 2008 with Mito HollyHock in Japan's J-League, later playing for Kashima Antlers and Jubilo Iwata. He then moved to Europe, where he played for FC Basel, Mainz, and Borussia Dortmund, among others, while also representing the national team.

SBS expressed its expectations, stating, "Since Park Ju-ho began his professional career in the J-League and directly experienced Japanese soccer and local culture, he will be able to vividly convey the atmosphere of the event and soccer culture in Japan."

Meanwhile, Park Ju-ho married Anna in 2015 and has two sons and one daughter. Anna announced in 2022 that she was battling cancer, and recently revealed that she is pregnant with their fourth child.
