Former MBC announcer Kim Dae-ho reacted strongly to Hongje-dong being referred to as the "Seoul suburbs."

Recently, Kim uploaded a video titled "Is this like an anti-fan cafe?" to his YouTube channel.

In the video, Kim participated in a segment where he read website information prepared by the production team. The website contained various details about Kim's family status, education, military service, religion, and agency affiliation, and he began reading through the content slowly.

The point that triggered Kim's reaction while reviewing information about himself was the entry listing Hongje-dong in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, where he resides, as the "Seoul suburbs."

In response, Kim corrected this, stating, "Suburbs? Hongje-dong is a central area of Seoul. If you go over the mountain, Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbokgung Palace are right there."

He then read the phrase as "Seoul center" instead of "Seoul suburbs," eliciting laughter.

Kim left MBC last year after 14 years with the broadcaster and is currently working as a freelance broadcaster.
