Singer Kim Gun-mo shared an update on his recent condition after overcoming a difficult period.

On the 11th, Kim Gun-mo posted a photo and a caption on his personal social media account that read, "Daegu concert successfully completed. Thank you to all the audience who joined us. See you in Jeonju."

In the revealed photo, Kim Gun-mo is posing in what appears to be a backstage waiting room at the venue.

Wearing sunglasses, he placed his finger on his chin and displayed a cheerful demeanor.

Notably, Kim Gun-mo drew attention by sharing an update showing a healthy appearance with added weight, contrasting with his previously gaunt look.

Meanwhile, in August 2016, Kim Gun-mo was embroiled in allegations of sexually assaulting Ms. A at a nightclub in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Ms. A made these claims and filed a complaint against Kim Gun-mo after appearing on the YouTube channel Garoseoro Research Institute (Gaseoyeon) in December 2019.

At the time, the controversy was particularly significant as Kim Gun-mo had just announced his marriage to pianist and composer Jang Ji-yeon, who is 13 years his junior. However, Kim Gun-mo strongly denied the allegations, stating, "I don't know who Ms. A is." The Prosecution Service disposed of the case with a decision not to prosecute on grounds of 'no evidence' in 2021.

Although Kim Gun-mo was cleared of the sexual assault charges, he suspended his activities due to the aftermath of the controversy. Subsequently, Kim Gun-mo and Jang Ji-yeon became legally married through a marriage registration in 2019. However, with the litigation overlapping with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, they ultimately did not hold a wedding ceremony. They divorced in 2022, two years and eight months after their marriage registration.
