Singer and painter Solbi and actor Lee Kyu-han are getting married.

On the 15th, Solbi's agency, Gian Castle, announced, "Solbi and Lee Kyu-han have promised to become husband and wife based on mutual trust and love."

The two were recently confirmed to have completed a formal meeting between their families. They plan to hold the wedding privately with family members from both sides, close relatives, and intimate friends. The agency stated, "Both families met together and discussed their intention to marry. They are scheduled to hold the wedding in April next year."

The sudden announcement of marriage has become a topic of conversation, as the fact that Solbi and Lee Kyu-han were dating had not been made public. The two previously appeared together on the KBS Joy variety show "Pursuit of Long-Standing Relationships," which aired last year.

At the time, Lee Kyu-han expressed his affection for Solbi by saying, "You were a woman from the very beginning." They also appeared to share similar tastes in food and ideal partner types. When Lee Kyu-han said, "I like bright and witty people," Solbi replied, "Then I'm exactly that," showing their sweet side.

In particular, a post Solbi made on her SNS on the 1st is once again drawing attention. At the time, Solbi wrote, "I will spend this year's birthday like this. I hope to celebrate next year as a couple and the year after that as a family of three." As the post was made two weeks before the marriage announcement, some are reacting by asking whether it hinted at the wedding.

Lee Kyu-han, born in 1980, and Solbi, born in 1984, have an age difference of four years. Solbi debuted as a member of the group Typhoon in 2006 and has been active as a singer and broadcaster. Currently, she continues to work as a painter under her real name, Kwon Ji-an. Lee Kyu-han debuted in the 1998 MBC drama "Love and Success" and has appeared in works such as "My Name Is Kim Sam-soon," "Miss Hwang's Family," and "The Judge from Hell."
