Actor Kim Dong-hee had suspended his activities due to the school violence controversy, but recently resumed his work and also began reactivating his social media presence.

On the 23rd, Kim posted multiple photos on his account without any caption.

The photos showed Kim in casual attire looking at a tablet screen at a cafe.

He displayed a relaxed demeanor, looking intently at the tablet before breaking into a bright smile.

Recently, Kim also shared recent photos from a filming set on his SNS, hinting at upcoming activities.

It was later revealed that Kim made his acting comeback by starring in "Sapiens" (directed by Lee Ho-bin), an invited work in the Korean Cinema Today-Special Premiere section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), which closed on the 15th.

The cast of the film included Jung Sung-il, Yoo Jae-myung, Ryu Hyun-kyung, and Park Myung-hoon, among others, but Kim's appearance came as a surprise. He played the role of Oh Jong-hwa, a third-generation chaebol heir.

Kim had gained attention for his roles in the 2018 drama "SKY Castle," the 2020 series "Itaewon Class," and the Netflix series "Human Lessons." However, he was embroiled in controversy as an alleged perpetrator of school violence in 2021. At the time, he faced allegations of bullying a disabled friend. Kim filed defamation lawsuits against the accusers, but they were dismissed with a finding of no crime.

Kim apologized, stating, "Due to my hasty judgment and thoughts as a child, I do not think I deeply understood my friend's feelings. I sincerely apologize for the hurt that friend received from me. I want to resolve this."

After suspending his activities, Kim announced in January of this year that he had signed an exclusive contract with Neo Entertainment.
