Actor Gong Myung (32, real name Kim Dong-hyun) has signaled the start of a second act in his career under the wing of "World Star" Lee Byung-hun (56).

BH Entertainment (hereinafter BH Ent.) officially stated to StarNews on the afternoon of the 27th, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with Gong Myung."

BH Ent. is an actor-specialized management company established in 2006 by actor Lee Byung-hun together with Son Seok-woo, its current CEO and his former dedicated manager. The roster includes Lee Byung-hun, Park Bo-young, Park Jin-young (GOT7), Park Hae-soo, Ahn So-hee, Lee Ji-ah, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Hee-jun, Jeon So-yeong, Jung Ho-yeon, the couple Choo Ja-hyun and Wu Haoguang, Han Ga-in, Han Ji-min, and Han Hyo-joo.

With this move, Gong Myung concludes his long-standing partnership with Saram Entertainment (hereinafter Saram Ent.) and stands at a new starting line. He debuted in 2013 as a member of Surprise, an actor group under Fantagio, before signing an exclusive contract with Saram Ent. in 2020. By wrapping up a relationship of about six years and establishing a new base at BH Ent., he has heightened expectations for his second act.

In fact, Gong Myung has been building a distinctive filmography. He rose to the ranks of "10-million-viewer actors" through Lee Byung-hun's directorial debut film "Extreme Job" (2019). On December 11, he is set to make his first appearance in MBC's new drama "Your Ground." "Your Ground" is a ground healing romance about baseball player Kang Hae-hwan (played by Gong Myung), who was halted by a single setback, meeting agent Seo Hee-seung (played by Han Hyo-joo), a former lawyer, and moving toward his dream once again. With this transfer, Gong Myung will make a comeback alongside Han Hyo-joo, a fellow member of the BH Ent. family.

Meanwhile, Gong Myung is the older brother of Do Young (30, real name Kim Dong-young), a member of the SM Entertainment idol group NCT.
