Actor Heo Sung-tae captivated viewers with his perfect portrayal of a dual-natured character in the drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2'.

On the 28th and 29th, Heo appeared as Ham Seong-wook in episodes 7 and 8 of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2', engaging in a tense standoff with Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun).

Ham Seong-wook is the leader of the organized crime group 'Hamurabi-pa'. He became central to the incident after learning that Park Jae-ha (played by Son Woo-hyun) was in a romantic relationship with his only daughter, Ham Su-jeong (played by Jung Chae-yeon). In their first encounter, Jin Yi-soo and Ham Seong-wook created a tense atmosphere as Ham showed no weakness to the visitor, maintaining a sharp gaze.

Heo Sung-tae also expressed Ham Seong-wook's competitive spirit and psychological warfare during a shooting duel scene. Following investigations surrounding Park Jae-ha's death, he admitted to threatening Park for dating his daughter but insisted he had no connection to Park's death.

In scenes with Ham Su-jeong, the portrayal showed Ham Seong-wook wavering before his daughter who suspected him. The character's rough and intimidating persona contrasted with his paternal love for his only daughter, drawing viewers into the story.

Heo Sung-tae has previously appeared in films 'The Outlaws' and 'The Age of Shadows', as well as Netflix's original series 'Squid Game' and Disney+'s original series 'Casino'. He plans to continue his acting career through various works following 'Chaebol X Detective 2'.
