Hong Sung-yoon proved to be a strong favorite by showing his unwavering singing ability in front of the legendary original artist.

In the TV Chosun survival program "Miss Trot 4," which aired on the 19th, the 4th legendary mission was drawn.

The legendary mission was conducted by selecting songs from four legends: Kim Soo-hee, Choi Jin-hee, Kim Yeon-ja, and Kim Yong-im.

Hong Sung-yoon selected Kim Soo-hee's "Lonely Lover" and took the stage. The understated emotional expression at the beginning doubled the poignancy of the song. From the introduction, "Look up at me, don't be sad," Hong Seong-yoon's unique deep tone overwhelmed the audience. In particular, the explosive high-pitched range after the middle was perfect enough to make even the original singer Kim Soo-hee smile.

The stage direction was also outstanding. The stage composition, set against the backdrop of a rainy window and bed, combined with Hong Seong-yoon's sad emotional line, gave a musical-like sense of immersion. Not only the singing ability but also the emotional delivery power in each of the lyrics impressed the audience.

At the end of the stage, the master corps and the audience responded with a warm round of applause. Hong Sung-yoon's performance, which saved the taste of the authentic trot but did not lose his own color, was a moment that once again confirmed why he is called a "monster contestant."

After Hong Sung-yoon's performance, Kim Soo-hee said, "You sang better than me. "I want to steal your voice," Boom praised, adding, "You look like a genius." I can see Jin Sun-mi now," he praised.

The final ranking, which adds up the total points of the first and second rounds, was revealed. No. 1 Heo Chan-mi, No. 2 Hong Seong-yoon, No. 3 Gil Ryeo-won, No. 4 Yoon Yoon-seo, No. 5 Yoon Tae-hwa, No. 6 Yeom Yu-ri, No. 7 Yoo-mi, No. 8 Lee So-na, No. 9 Lee Elijah, and No. 10 Kim San-ha made the top 10 in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, Hong Seong-yoon ranked first in the popular vote in the 7th week of the 'Miss Trot 4' public support vote (February 13-19).
