'Assassin(s)' surpassed 200,000 pre-sale tickets one day before its release, securing the top spot in pre-sale rates.

'Assassin(s)' is a story tracing the suspicions and masterminds behind the assassination of the First Lady that shocked South Korea on August 15, 1974. On the 20th, 'Assassin(s)' overtook the film 'Odyssey', which had held the top pre-sale position for an extended period, to claim the number one spot in overall pre-sales, generating significant buzz. This marks the first time a Korean film has reached the top of the pre-sale rankings in 64 days.

'Assassin(s)', having broken 'Odyssey's' dominance and claimed the top position, continues to hold the number one spot daily, demonstrating intense public interest ahead of its release. Pre-sale numbers are also on the rise. Recording approximately 150,000 tickets sold as of the morning of the 21st, 'Assassin(s)' surpassed 200,000 within a single day, rapidly increasing its pre-sale volume. With such unstoppable growth in pre-sales leading up to the release, attention is focused on 'Assassin(s)' for its potential Chuseok box office performance.

'Assassin(s)' is scheduled for theatrical release on September 23.
