Singer Raki (ROCKY) is launching a talent development initiative.

Raki will participate in K-POP workshops held on May 23 and 24 at the Tokyo School of Music and Dance and the Tokyo Dance, Actor, and Stage Arts School in Japan.

Recently appointed as K-POP Director at StageOnK, an institutional investor and K-POP talent development platform jointly operated by KBS Sports World and PH E&M, Raki will share not only choreography training but also practical know-how as an artist through this workshop. The exclusive curriculum, developed by Raki, will cover everything from stage production flow to the process of infusing performances with emotion and messages.

Having honed skills in production, performance, choreography, and direction through activities with the group ASTRO and as a solo artist, Raki aims to expand their role beyond "all-around artist" to "K-Pop Director" through this global project.

A representative from StageOnK expressed high expectations, stating, "This project, which moves away from traditional academy-style education by incorporating the vivid, real-world know-how of Raki, our current all-around artist and Director, into the curriculum, will serve as a symbolic case of K-Pop artists' influence expanding beyond stages into new areas of education and planning."

Raki's agency, Wonyijin Entertainment, also stated, "This project marks an important starting point for expanding K-POP content based on Raki's accumulated stage experience and production capabilities," adding, "We plan to gradually proceed with various education, content, and performance projects targeting the global market."

Starting with the K-POP workshop in Japan, Raki plans to continue active activities spanning both artist and director roles, including confirming performances and projects in major regions of Europe and Asia.
