The OST 'Golden' from the Netflix animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' has been selected as 'Song of the Year' at the American Music Awards.

'Golden' was named 'Song of the Year' at the 2026 American Music Awards (AMA), held on the 25th (local time) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, U.S.

'Golden' sparked a global phenomenon by simultaneously topping the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, marking the first time a K-pop genre song has achieved this feat, alongside the box office success of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'.

'Golden' is a song performed by the fictional girl group Huntress in 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', featuring vocals by Korean-American artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Raye. 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' became the first virtual artist to enter the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 since Hannah Montana in 2009, 16 years later.

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is an action fantasy animation depicting the story of K-pop superstars Lumi, Mira, and Jooy, who act as hidden heroes protecting the world behind dazzling stages.
