A 30-year-old was sent to the Prosecution Service for illegally purchasing and selling approximately 2,600 tickets, including BTS's Gwanghwamun comeback concert, using a macro program.

The Seoul National Police Agency's Cyber Investigation Division announced on the 26th that it has non-detained transferred 30-year-old woman A to prosecutors on charges of violating the Information and Communications Network Act, obstructing business, and violating the Performance Act.

Police determined that A booked a total of nine tickets for the BTS Gwanghwamun concert in February under family and acquaintances' names using a macro program. It was also revealed that she illegally purchased and resold approximately 2,600 performance tickets from April 2023 through March this year.

Accordingly, police have applied for pre-indictment seizure and recovery of criminal proceeds worth 442 million won related to A's crimes.

Police plan to rigorously investigate illegal ticket purchasing and distribution activities in the future.
