Idles member Jeon So-yeon once again made a significant remark directed at her agency Cube Entertainment, but it turned out to be part of the concept for her solo album.

On the 27th, Idles officially released on their SNS a still image that appears to be a teaser for Jeon So-yeon's new solo album. Jeon So-yeon will release her first solo full-length album titled 'Amazing Life' at 6 p.m. on September 7.

The still image features the tracklist for 'Amazing Life' and includes a document titled "Resignation Letter" displayed on a computer screen, drawing attention.

On the 27th, Jeon So-yeon posted a photo of the Cube Entertainment building.

In the photo, Jeon So-yeon reached out her hand in front of the Cube Entertainment building and wrote, "I'm quitting."

This was not the first time Jeon So-yeon took such action. Ahead of the expiration of her exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment in August 2024, she drew attention during an Idles concert by mentioning lyrics such as "Contract ends in November. Who will stop me" and "Do I have to care about XX's feelings."

Subsequently, Cube Entertainment explained that the members of Idles' contract renewal is scheduled for 2025 and that the stage was part of a performance. However, Jeon So-yeon responded that she did indeed criticize Cube Entertainment, stating, "This performance also did not hide lies or try to conceal them from the company. I have gone through many things together for over ten years, so I don't hold negative feelings toward the company just by reading articles in the media."

She continued, "I feel this has been an opportunity once again to realize our company's inadequacies regarding any response. I will also strive to grow together, so I hope that uncomfortable emotions such as worry or hatred can subside somewhat." Following this, Jeon So-yeon renewed her contract with Cube Entertainment.
