The musical Anna Karenina expressed her position on the controversy over casting musical actor Ok Joo-hyun.

On the 28th, Anna Karenina said, "I have nothing to say because casting and episodes are unique rights of producers and original creators."

He added, "It is a difficult schedule because there are many variables such as consultation with licensees, reduction of the total number of performances, and the schedule of actors."

Anna Karenina is a musical based on the novel of the same name, one of Tolstoy's three major literatures that deeply deals with love, marriage, and family issues set in the late 19th century in Russian aristocratic society.

According to the recently released casting lineup, Ok Joo-hyun, actors Kim So-hyang and Lee Ji-hye were triple cast as title role Anna Karenina.

However, out of a total of 38 performances, Ok Joo-hyun took the stage 23 times, Lee Ji-hye took the stage 8 times, and Kim So-hyang took the stage 7 times, causing controversy over casting.

In the midst of this, Kim So-hyang left a meaningful message on her personal SNS on the 27th, "Night, night, night. I have a lot to say, but let's not say it." This raises speculation that it may have indirectly revealed its feelings about the controversy over casting Ok Joo-hyun.
