Star instructor Seol Min-seok has become a Yonsei University graduate.

On the 28th, Seol Min-seok posted a message on his personal SNS: "After standing at the lectern of teaching for 30 years, I sat at the desk of learning for the past three years. I studied hard and realized many things."

He continued, "I am grateful to everyone who has supported my path, and I offer my deepest gratitude once again to the professor who held my hand from beginning to end," while releasing a graduation verification photo showing him wearing a cap and holding a bouquet of flowers.

In 2010, Seol Min-seok faced allegations of plagiarizing approximately 40 other papers while writing his master's thesis at Yonsei University Graduate School titled "A Study on Ideological Controversies Reflected in the Description of Korean Modern and Contemporary History Textbooks." Following this, he acknowledged the plagiarism controversy and withdrew from all broadcasts he was appearing in at the time.

Before returning to broadcasting in 2024, he re-enrolled in the Department of History Education at Yonsei University Graduate School in 2023. Ultimately, he received his diploma properly after three years, clearing his past mistakes.
