Actor Choi Hyun-wook continues his independent path following the controversy over his drunk live broadcast.

On the 2nd, Choi posted several selfies taken at a vacation spot with an exotic landscape on his personal SNS without any additional comments.

In the photos, Choi is seen leaning on an outdoor sunbed, wearing a green robe and sunglasses, enjoying his leisure time. His expression as he gazes into the camera shows no sign of the burden from the controversy that erupted just three days prior.

Additionally, with his shirt off and body in the pool, Choi, still wearing sunglasses, displayed his signature confident demeanor with an intense gaze.

Previously, on the morning of the 30th last month, Choi sparked concern by going live while clearly intoxicated. At the time, he said, "Am I not too ugly right now? It's because I'm like a pig," rambling incoherently. When fans tried to stop him from broadcasting, he retorted, "Koreans are all asleep at this hour, so there's no one to stop me," unleashing reckless remarks and landing himself in further controversy.

This is not the first time Choi has faced personal life risks. In 2023, a video spread of him chatting amiably with two women on Apgujeong Rodeo Street in Seoul while smoking, then carelessly discarding cigarette butts on the ground, drew fierce criticism. Beyond the 2022 leak of a club smoking video, in 2024 he caused a major incident where his full-body silhouette without underwear was fully reflected on the surface of a Bearbrick prop posted on SNS, continuously generating endless "personal life black history."

Choi Hyun-wook is set to appear in the film "Vampire," a new work by director Jang Jae-hyun and actor Yoo Ah-in's comeback project after being labeled a drug offender.
