Composer and singer Lee Jae (EJAE), who received worldwide love as Rumi in the Netflix animated film "KPop Demon Hunters" (hereinafter "KPDH"), held a surprise wedding with producer Sam Kim in Korea. On the day of the wedding, HUNTR/X members Audrey Nuna (who played Mira) and Layla Amii (who played Joy), who shared the glory of "KPDH," also visited Korea to congratulate on the marriage.

Lee Jae held her wedding with her lover Sam Kim at Seoul Stage 28 on the 17th. Stage 28 is a venue created from the site of the former residence of Lee Jae's maternal grandfather, Shin Young-kyun, and is used for events such as award ceremonies and weddings.

The couple's marriage was officially confirmed on the 19th (local time) with the release of wedding photos by the American fashion magazine Vogue. In particular, HUNTR/X members Audrey Nuna and Layla Amii, who worked together on "KPDH," also attended the wedding. It is reported that the two visited Korea specifically to attend Lee Jae's wedding.

Layla Amii shared a photo of herself hugging both Lee Jae, who was wearing hanbok, and Audrey Nuna, saying, "Congratulations from the bottom of our hearts on the marriage of our big sister Lee Jae and Sam Kim, who are the most affectionate, beautiful, kind, lovable, talented, and magical in the world. It was a wonderful night filled with love, music, and celebration," adding congratulations to the happy wedding.

The two first met at a studio for music work in 2017 and later developed into a romantic relationship. The couple got engaged in 2023 and had originally planned to hold their wedding in the United States in November this year, but they canceled those plans and moved to Korea to hold a surprise wedding in October, one month earlier.

At the wedding that day, Lee Jae was seen wearing a wedding dress, as well as traditional Korean hanbok while performing the pebaek ceremony, thereby introducing unique K-wedding culture to the world.
