The Korea Tourism Organization (President Park Seong-hyeok, hereinafter KTO) will present for the first time to the general public the final selected works of the "2026 Korea Tourism Design Competition (Souvenir Category)" from November 11 to 20 at The Hyundai Seoul on Yeouido in Seoul.

Planned under the theme "Korea Select '25," this event was organized to expand sales channels for outstanding tourism souvenirs. Based on ongoing cooperation with sponsor Hyundai Department Store, KTO is making multifaceted efforts to broaden its touchpoints with domestic and international consumers.

At this event, a total of 25 Eom Seon-doen (수상) works will be exhibited, including "The Brilliant Stage of Baudeok-i, Unfolded onto the Dining Table," which won the Presidential Award in this year's competition. The winning entries can be viewed in the central space on the fifth floor of The Hyundai Seoul and are scheduled to open as shop-in-shop units within the "The Hyundai Souvenir" store, a shopping hotspot for both Korean and foreign visitors, for continuous sales.

Song Eun-kyung, team leader of the Shopping and Accommodation Division at KTO, stated, "The Hyundai Seoul is an essential landmark for foreign tourists visiting Korea and a platform leading the latest trends, making it the ideal venue to showcase this year's selected tourism souvenirs." She added, "Starting with our collaboration with Hyundai Department Store, we plan to actively support expansion of sales channels not only through sponsor institutional investors such as Lotte Duty Free and the National Museum Culture Foundation but also by securing listings on overseas online platforms like Amazon."

Meanwhile, KTO will host Korea's largest-scale "Tourism Souvenir Expo," gathering a wide range of tourism souvenirs in one place, from November 20 to 22 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). Participating companies will receive various benefits, including free booth space and one-on-one business consultations. Applications for participation can be submitted via the KTO website until September 18.
