BTS member Jin topped the idol rankings once again, securing the No. 1 spot for nine consecutive months and reaffirming his enduring popularity.
Jin placed first in the “November Idol Ranking” vote held on the global fandom platform Star Planet from November 1 to 15, receiving a total of 145,134 votes. With this achievement, he extended his record to nine straight months at No. 1, once again proving his consistent and unwavering popularity. As a benefit of this top ranking, Jin’s promotional video was displayed for one week—from December 1 to 7—on the Airport Railroad DS digital billboard (Panels 1 and 2) at DMC (Digital Media City) Station. Messages celebrating Jin’s birthday on December 4, along with heartfelt words of support, drew particular attention.
Meanwhile, on the 12th, BTS’s official social media channels unveiled the SCREENX and 4DX posters for #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR THE MOVIE, further heightening anticipation for its release.
The film is a concert movie that vividly captures the atmosphere of Jin’s fan concert, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in GOYANG, held in June at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Sports Complex. Run Seokjin Episode Tour The Movie features special moments of Jin that can only be experienced on the big screen. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on December 27, with domestic ticket sales in Korea opening on December 17, followed by an exclusive run at CGV theaters starting December 31.
As interest continues to build ahead of its release, Jin’s concert movie is expected to add a meaningful presence to the year-end box office.
