BTS member V’s U.S. fans have created a special “V Bench” in New York’s Central Park to celebrate his birthday.
V’s American fans announced that they had installed a bench dedicated to him in Central Park, located in the heart of New York City, to commemorate V’s birthday on December 30—his first birthday since being discharged from the military. This support project was organized by Taehyung Tuesday, a charitable organization founded by V’s U.S. fans. Under the name “Taehyung’s Corner,” the group has been carrying out various donation and charity activities.
Central Park, situated in the center of Manhattan, attracts approximately 25 million visitors each year and is regarded as the most visited park in the United States. V’s bench is located by the artificial lake near the newly opened Davis Center, which was established in May, offering visitors a scenic view of the water.
The installation is part of Central Park’s Adopt-A-Bench program, which allows individuals, families, or organizations to donate funds in their name to install a bench with a commemorative plaque. All donations are managed by the nonprofit Central Park Conservancy.
