Broadcaster An Sun-young confessed to her past obsession with luxury brand logos.

Recently, An Sun-young uploaded a video titled "Three Characteristics of People Who Don't Betray You After Being Scammed" on her YouTube channel.

In the released video, An Sun-young began by saying, "There was a reason why my lack of wealth was obvious when I lived without it."

She recalled, "When I went to the luxury department store section, didn't you feel intimidated? At that time, I couldn't buy anything, and there was a group I felt I didn't belong to."

She continued, "Afterward, as I formed a somewhat shallow sense of wealth, what did I do? I bought an enormous amount of logo-play brand products. I bought things where (the luxury logos) were very visible. That was ostentation." She candidly admitted this.

An Sun-young added, "The same goes for interpersonal relationships around me. There are people who talk excessively not about themselves, but about their husband's job, stories of their wealthy in-laws, or their own parents' stories. People who rely on such packaging or logo-play often have low self-esteem." She shared her thoughts.

She further noted, "Later, there was always a moment when those people would say, 'Are you ignoring me?' The more someone enjoys showing off their surroundings rather than themselves, the more likely they are to lack substance."

Meanwhile, An Sun-young debuted as an MBC 11th public recruitment comedian in 2000 and married a businessman three years her junior in 2013, with whom she has a son.
