In 'Gift,' actor Kim Woo-bin is set to make a groundbreaking acting transformation as a baseball manager.

tvN's new weekend drama 'Gift' (directed by Kim Gyu-tae and Ham Seung-hoon, written by Min Jung, Hae Ju, and Sung Eun) tells the story of a former professional baseball pitching coach who gains special abilities after an unexpected accident and is appointed as the manager of a high school baseball team that ranks last in the country. A growth sports drama depicting characters seeking answers between talent and effort, it is based on the popular webtoon of the same name by writer Jeong I-ri-i-ri, currently serialized on Kakao Webtoon.

The director's debut poster released on the 21st draws attention for featuring the character of baseball manager Jung Min-yong, played by Kim Woo-bin, and the core setting of the work. Jung Min-yong is shown looking straight ahead with a confident expression, standing among players wearing blue baseball team uniforms. In particular, grade cards floating above the heads of the baseball team members catch the eye alongside the caption 'I started to see the right answer in my eyes!', sparking curiosity about what the 'right answer' that Jung Min-yong has discovered is.

The first episode of 'Gift' will air at 9:10 p.m. on December 5.

Meanwhile, Kim Woo-bin married actress Shin Min-a last December after a romance of about 10 years.
